“ I've ordered Cantina 62 on DoorDash probably 5 times at lease and every time I am so happy with my order. I apologize for the eaten food, but I couldn't wait to dig in. I can't say for sure how it is inside the restaurant, but the food quality and quickness is incredible. I love this place! ”
“ The best thing about Cantina is that they have so many amazing vegan options! You can make almost anything on their menu vegan from chips and queso to burritos. They have amazing vegan crispy "chicken" and Mac and cheese. The issue is their hours are inconsistent and they don't announce it. For example, one Saturday night we specifically checked online for the hours and checked Facebook and everything and nothing about closing so we walked there starving and found out they were randomly closed without warning. Similar situation today. Put in a whole order online and then when I go to submit it tells me they aren't accepting orders (it should have told me that before putting it in). Again, called and checked online, nothing about being closed today (a Friday during their normal hours). To be honest I will continue to order from here because the vegan options are that good BUT it is so frustrating that they don't announce when they will be randomly closed! ”
“ I ordered some takeout from Cantina the other night and I couldn't have been happier! These Birria tacos were delicious and satisfying. The tender, slow-cooked beef was the star of the show. The tortillas are the perfect vehicle for the meat, soaking up all of the delicious juices and adding a satisfying crunch. The toppings are just as important as the meat itself, and the best birria tacos have the toppings and the meat blend together perfectly. These are those kind of tacos. And the sauces? So good!!! Overall, I would give birria tacos a 9/10 rating for their delicious flavor, satisfying texture, and overall taste. They are perfect for a quick lunch or just a nice simple dinner. I also got some chips and queso which was a really nice addition to the tacos. I will definitely be back and will be very excited to see what else is on the menu next time. ”
“ We tried Cantina 62 again because there isn't much open on a Monday afternoon for dinner- We dined in this time and were pleasantly surprised- it was good like it used to be. They put the BBQ Nachos back on the menu, which was wonderful and they were really tasty. Ordering is on an iPad and you can customize your meal, which is super convenient and easy to do. It was a bit touch and go for a while- but I am glad to see they are back to restaurant I once loved. ”
“ Went for lunch and tried one of the daily specials : The Philly Mac Burrito. It was loaded with Philly steak, peppers and onions, and Mac n cheese and delicious! The meat was cooked just right and pasta was the perfect amount of cheesy. Definitely was a unique burrito experience, but I would do it again. Got a side of chips and queso and this were both good as well. Really liked the flavor of their chips which I believe our made in-house. Quick and friendly service further bolster this dining experience. ”
“ VEGANS - drop everything and go here now! Cow-free queso, cheese, sour cream, and Impossible burgers plus other ingredients like black beans, potato and corn, taco fries, rice...so many vegan items to be combined in so many magical ways. The back of the menu lists lots of vegan items and there were vegan specials on a screen by the checkout including nachos and an Impossible burrito bowl in a fried tortilla bowl. The burritos are enormous. Years ago, I went to the Lackawanna location having heard great things. I had a corn and potato taco and it was good but not worth the trip. What I really wanted was the nacho-rito: a burrito served on a bed of chips smothered in nacho cheese, sour cream, and sauce. I never dreamed they would some day make a vegan one. It didn't seem like that kind of place. Fast forward to today - IT IS THAT KIND OF PLACE. I had the vegan Impossible nachos and they were sensational. Everything I want them to be. Thin fresh chips, crumbled impossible meat, queso everywhere with sour cream melting into it plus fresh diced tomato and green onion. The taco fries with queso were also amazing. They will walk the food over to the Bottle Shop next door and you can eat it there. All the Impossible items can be ordered vegetarian or vegan. I can't wait to come back for the Nacho-Rito. ”
“ I'll never turn down the chance to get my hands on a taco, and the selection at Cantina 62 is unmatched. The menu is pretty broad and there's a good number of speciality tacos to try. Service was great and our food came out pretty quickly! The food itself is good as well. I got a side of the Spanish rice and it was really savory and flavorful. I got Classic tacos with beef - overall they were pretty solid however the beef was sort of dry. Shoulda thrown some more hot sauce on I guess! I don't know if I'll come back, but if I do, it would definitely be to try some of their specialty tacos. They've even got a Beef on Weck taco, who woulda thunk? ”
“ Decided to try out Cantina 62 today. Ordered the shrimp lime and cilantro taco and nachos with chicken. Also got the Mexican Mac and cheese to try. Boyfriend ordered the double decker Mexican taco, the American, and the beef on week tacos. Shrimp taco was good, tortilla held up well. The Mac and cheese was amazing and creamy but the "side order" size is plenty to share -- they have an entree size too. The nachos were really good, chicken was tasty, good amount and combo of toppings. Boyfriend liked all his tacos for different reasons. The hot sauces are interesting. There are two extremely hot ones that of course pour out of the bottle rapidly. One is a red and one is tropical. The green one is mild but has great flavor. There is a good tasting red that could be a little hotter. We spent like $40 so it wasn't extremely cheap but everything was tasty. The space is neat and clean. Good amount of street parking. Staff checked on us several times to take away plates and see if we needed anything. The ceiling are high and loud traffic echos inside. The music was also a tad loud. They have a good selection of drinks, beers, and margarita machines. Would definitely go back. Neat menu and good food. ”
